An eleventh-hour miracle

“And about the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing idle, and said to them, ‘Why have you been standing here idle all day?’” (Matthew 20:6)

Matthew 20:6-8 illustrates one of Jesus’ parables titled the Parable of the workers in the vineyard.

It talks about how the owner of a vineyard goes about inviting laborers to come and work in his vineyard for a denarius a day.

“Assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.” (Matthew 11:11)

Therefore, you must be spiritually equipped against the enemy’s attempt to cut your life short and deem your light because they know that your greatness will glorify God and become a threat to them.

“Then the Angel of God spoke to me in a dream, saying, ‘Jacob.’ And I said, ‘Here I am.’” (Genesis 31:11)

Jacob’s story in the Bible is fascinating and displays the beauty and power of the number 1111 in intriguing ways.

In Genesis 32:22, Jacob and his household, including his eleven sons, crossed over the ford of Jabbok.

There, Jacob experienced angelic visitation and received revelation to change His name from Jacob to Israel.

This revelation and divine encounter aligned Jacob with God’s promises to His grandfather, Abraham, and father, Isaac.

In Genesis 31:11, the Angel of God spoke to Jacob in a dream, instructing him to flee the house of his uncle, Laban, to the land of his family.

For example, Joseph dreamed about becoming great while still with his family. In Egypt, God revealed the fates of the king’s butler and baker to him in a dream.

“Therefore thus says the Lord: “Behold, I will surely bring calamity on them which they will not be able to escape; and though they cry out to Me, I will not listen to them.” (Jeremiah 11:11)
